ABOUT OES
My name is DAVID MARTIN. Educated primarily
in the humanities, I've always enjoyed working
with words. I guess that's because of the ele-
ments that make writing a fine craft: PRECISION,
ORDER, STRUCTURE, DESIGN, and STYLE.
As a longtime teacher of English, I've focused on
helping my students develop and express their
own abilities as writers. Over the last ten years,
I've had the opportunity to bring this same focus to
students and professionals whose SECOND
LANGUAGE IS ENGLISH.

Thus OES is a natural progression of my personal de-
velopment as a craftsman with the additional skills
required to help those whose second language is
English present ideas in conformity with the rules
