Dear Mr. Martin,
Here is the revised version of the manuscript I have sent to you last week. Thanks for the valuable comments. The idea of this manuscript is to publish both parts (computer program and experiment) together, not in two different publications, because I do believe that readers need to understand the importance of the interaction between the program and experiments. Furthermore, I do believe the combination of both parts allows me to publish the manuscript in a better journal. Under these circumstances, could you tell me what is still missing or where you have problems to understand the experiments or discussion? Additionally, the discussion starts with the program and then, indeed, continues and finishes with the experiments (comments: D24, D26). If you have any idea how I can make this approach more acceptable for the reviewers, please tell me.
With this in mind, here is the revised version.
